Break time--switch to craft and story. The Shamrock illustrated the Holy Trinity which was explained in the poem. We talked about each icon that was used and ended with the dove landing on Jesus' shoulder after He was baptized by John the Baptist. Each of the kids recited the poem, by their choice. We were amazed that even that Sunday the Kindgergarten~1st grade class still remembered that poem! |

We finished with Highland games which were altered a bit to accommodate the kids and being indoors. 1st was the heavy sand bag carry and toss. Then we had the traditional Caber Toss. Both small sand bag and caber had to be tossed OVER a cross beam. |
